Allen Community Outreach is a 501(c)3 organization, as determined by the Internal Revenue Service. As a United Way affiliate, a small portion of funding comes from designated funds through employee donations (ACO’s code is 201) and United Way grants.
However, the majority of funding comes from individuals and businesses within our community. With your support, we are able to provide assistance such as rent, utilities, food and clothing, prescription drugs, school supplies, Meals-On-Wheels, Holiday programs and more.
ACO has a variety of options for your gift giving.
Your financial donation helps support local families year-round
ACO’s Annual Campaign allows individuals, businesses and organizations to support local families at various financial levels
Honor or remember friends and family by making a donation in their name. A card will be sent recognizing your gift.
Donations will help purchase school supplies for AISD children of low-income families.
Financial donations will be used to purchase meals for recipients of the Meals-On-Wheels & More Program.
PLANNED GIVING– To give real estate, stocks, insurance policies and estate beneficiaries, contact ACO directly at 972-727-9131.
IN-KIND GIFTS:
Charity Motors – Tax deductible donation of vehicles and boats may be made in ACO’s name. Contact Charity Motors, 241 W. Commerce St., Dallas, 214-630-0044. FREE Towing and Pickup is available.
Cell Phones – Drop off used cell phones at the ACO Office, 301 W. Boyd, Suite A, Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm, across from the Allen Post Office.
Tom Thumb Reward Card - Link your Reward Card to our Organization and Tom Thumb will donate to us! The more you shop, the more we get!
Our Good Neighbor number is : 5368.
You can make changes to your Reward Card by going to the following link Good Neighbor Card Updates Form, printing and completing the form, then taking it to your local Tom Thumb Customer Service Desk.
Kroger Share Card - Kroger will donate a percentage to us based on your total purchases. Pick up your Kroger Share Card from the ACO office and begin using it today!
