Donating to the Resale shop

Donations from the community are vital to the Resale Shop. The Resale Shop accepts furniture and household items that are in good or gently used condition. All clothing, toys, shoes, belts, hats, and bags (purses, totes, backpacks, etc) are accepted in any condition. We prefer these items to be donated in large trash bags if possible due to lack of space in our sorting area.

The Resale Shop cannot accept large appliances or mattresses; however, the ACO office does keep a WISH LIST for clients in Allen, Fairview, or Lucas that need these items. Contact Eli at the ACO office at 972-727-9131 if you have a large appliance to donate.

Donation hours are Monday- Friday 9am-4 p.m. and Saturday 10-4 p.m.

Pick Ups of Donations

The Resale Shop picks up large furniture by appointment only.  To schedule a pick up, contact the Resale Shop at 972-727-4751.We currently only pick up within a five mile radius unless other arrangements are made.
