Thank you to all that donated items or volunteer time to the Fill the Bus Campaign. Almost 400 new bags of school supplies were delivered to students on Saturday, August 20!
The 2011 schedule for our FILL THE BUS program begins August 8th with buses and drop boxes out at locations across Allen. See our schedule below. Drop off locations will be available from Monday, August 8th thru Sunday, August 14th at these locations and the Allen Community Outreach office at 801 E. Main Street. A list of supplies being collected is below.
Wednesday - Friday, August 17-19, volunteers will work to sort and bag supplies for students of low income families who cannot afford the supplies needed to start school. It takes many helping hands to sort the thousands of supplies that are needed and ACO volunteers get the job done! Volunteers distribute supplies on August 20.
