ALLEN COMMUNITY OUTREACH NOW OFFERING GED CLASSES!

GED classes are now being offered at ACO on Tuesday and Thursday evenings,  beginning on August 4, 2009, from 6:00-7:30 PM in the Community Room at 801 E Main St. Allen TX.

The GED classes are designed to offer you knowledge in five different areas; Social Studies, Science, Language Arts/ Reading; Mathematics, and Writing. 

Eligibility is if you are NOT enrolled in high school, you have NOT graduated from high school, you are at least 17 and you meet state, provincial, or territorial requirements regarding age, residency, and the length of time since leaving high school.  You may be 16 years of age if you are court ordered.

Accommodations for students with documented physical, sensory, emotional, or specific learning disabilities are available.
