Get Involved with ACO’s Holiday Food Program 2012
During the holiday months, the need for emergency assistance to families tends to increase. It is with the community support through donations and volunteer time that we make possible 400-500 Holiday boxes of groceries to fight hunger during Thanksgiving and Christmas.
The Holiday Food Drive begins October 15 and runs through November 15. You can participate by donating the items listed below or by making a cash donation online or mail.
Hold your own drive to benefit ACO’s Holiday Food Drive at your business, in your neighborhood, church, club or make it a family project. Print up flyers explaining your drive, or use our Holiday Foods Shopping List. A link is provided to the pdf file that you can copy and distribute to others.
Volunteers are needed to sort and box the food for families on November 15-17.
Current volunteers please contact Marjorie Vaneskahian to be put on the volunteer schedule for this program. Call 972-727-9131 or firstname.lastname@example.org
. New Volunteers may complete an application- see the Volunteer page.
