ALLEN, TX April 14, 2009: The last 15 years hundreds of athletes and novices have gathered to support Allen Community Outreach by running or walking in the annual SpringFest 5K FunRun and Martha Janes Memorial 1 Mile Walk. And for the past 10 years, Presbyterian Hospital of Allen, now known as Texas Health Resources Presbyterian Hospital of Allen, has been the title sponsor along with many other local supporting businesses.

In light of the community-wide focus to help Allen Community Outreach raise the much needed funds to finish the renovations on the “one-stop shop” for ACO staff, volunteers and families with emergency needs to work together to provide solutions, the decision was made to postpone the event until 2010.
