Holiday Volunteer Programs

Volunteers are needed to help with the upcoming holiday programs.

Our Thanksgiving Food Baskets provide much needed food to families so that they may prepare their own feast on the special holiday. Volunteers are needed to sort and box donated food items on Nov. 20-22 and also to assist with distribution to families on Nov. 24. All work will be done at First United Methodist Church of Allen, 601 S. Greenville Ave. To view open time slots where we need volunteers, click on the button below. The Villages of Allen will be hosting a Toy Drive for ACO’s Toys For Our Tots and volunteers are needed to pick up toys every day and deliver them to ACO beginning Nov. 22 through Dec. 11. ACO’s Christmas Adoption Program provides gifts for children, teens and Seniors to hundreds here in our community who otherwise would not have gifts to open on Christmas morning. Thanks to many donors, gifts are purchased for these individuals and returned to ACO where many volunteers.
