A BIG thank you to our caring individual and groups of volunteers who helped us during the month of May, including:
- Liberty Mutual sent 100 employee volunteers who gave 400 hours of their precious time to help our mission!
- Keller Williams had 26 volunteers who come every year to help at our Food Pantry, Resale Store and at Treasure Chest. Thank you friends for your ongoing support!
- Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital sent 20 employee volunteers who also come to ACO every year with a smile on their faces!
- ACO also has loyal donors who have been volunteering weekly at our Food Pantry, Treasure Chest, Book Nook/Resale Shop, The ACO Boutique and at the front desk in our main office. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for your ongoing caring hands!!
Lisa Sawyers (pictured first from left), from Liberty Mutual, has been volunteering at ACO for many years through the “Serve with Liberty” volunteer campaign. “I live in Allen and it is great to be able to volunteer at ACO and help my own community”, said Lisa.
Dani Maravilla also from Liberty Mutual, volunteered at the Food Pantry during a shopping day, and she said “It is refreshing to see an organization like ACO so close to home helping so many people.”
Pasha Chiles with Liberty Mutual, (pictured in the middle) said “It was special to see how grateful the individuals who go to the ACO food pantry are to receive food, especially the kids!”
