As CEO, I want to personally thank you for your incredible generosity and support of ACO.
North Texas Giving Day was a huge success as we raised over $68,000 to help people in need. Your donations on that special day and throughout the year ensure that we can continue to provide needed services for our neighbors.
The rest of the year will be incredibly busy for us here at ACO. In addition to the ongoing services we provide, such as financial assistance, food pantry visits, GED classes, and employment assistance, we will also be distributing extra food for the holidays to vulnerable families. Visit our Holiday Food Drive page to see the list of needed items for the special holiday food bags.
Another way to help is by participating in the OcTURBOfest Charity Car Show on October 20 at TwoRows Classic Grill. There will be live music and prizes, and all proceeds from this fun event will go to ACO.
I also hope to see you at our Main Event: Game Night on Saturday, November 10, which will benefit the services and programs to prevent men, women and children from experiencing hunger and homelessness in our communities.
The need to help people overcome the causes and effects of poverty is growing in our communities, but with your help and through your generosity, we are making a difference!
