Hello Neighbor,

I am so excited to tell you about some changes coming here at ACO in the coming months.

First, the bushes along the alley on the north side of our building are scheduled to be removed by the City Of Allen May 29-31. The following week, an 8ft board-on-board, stained fence will take the place of the 100ft+ length of bushes to better conceal the back of our building operations and dumpsters. It will provide better privacy and have a clean, fresh look. Our thanks to Pickle Roofing and Texas Best Stain for their support in the construction of the fence.

Beginning in July, ACO is moving our donation drop off process to 2 Butler Circle, another partnership with the City of Allen that we are most grateful for. July will be a transition month for donors as we take donations at Main Street and Butler Circle and communicate to the public our new process. Beginning August 1, all donations will be taken ONLY at Butler Circle and the traffic should begin to be much lighter in our parking lot and along Fountain Park. Our parking lot will be re-striped and we hope to lessen the need for street parking.

Please be patient with us during the process and know that we are working hard to be the best neighbors possible to you, while serving our neighbors in need throughout our community. Our logo represents joined hands, and we thank you for joining hands with ACO to better serve those facing hunger, homelessness and financial insecurity.

Please feel free to come by or contact me anytime. My email address is marjorie@accocares.org and phone number is 972-727-9131.

Many thanks!
Marjorie Vaneskahian Burr, CEO
