Allen Community Outreach is pleased to announce the newest staff member to join the team.  Rhonda Ptak has been named Chief Community Development Officer for the organization, which provides assistance for financial security to Collin County families to avoid hunger and homelessness. Ms. Ptak is no stranger to ACO, having served as part-time Special Events Director for four years before taking a full-time position with the Allen Fairview Chamber of Commerce. After a four-year stint with the Chamber, she is returning to ACO.

“We are thrilled to have Rhonda back and the passion for ACO that she brings. She has the heart for our mission and the knowledge of our community and will be a perfect fit as an officer,” said Marjorie Burr, CEO. “Her focus will not only be on fund development, but increased community awareness as ACO continues to grow and build on the programs and services provided to Collin County residents. Daniela Mesquita, who served as ACO’s Fund Development Director departs at this time. We wish Daniela the best in her future career development,” said Burr.

Aaron Vaughn, who has been with ACO for more than a decade, has been named Chief Operating Officer. Vaughn was serving as Director of Operations and overseeing resale operations and facilities. “Aaron is such an asset to our organization and I look forward to working with him closely as COO,” said Burr.  He fills the position previously held by Burr before she took over as CEO in March of this year.
