Kathy Clinton – Warehouse Volunteer

“2020 was a very tough year for me. First came Covid and then the passing of my husband. In 2021, I was ready to get out of the house, find a purpose and make a difference. I found ACO while looking for volunteer opportunities. 

Since I live in Allen, it was my first choice. I started volunteering in the summer of 2021 at the warehouse packaging food for distribution. 

I love the camaraderie of the volunteers and employees at the warehouse. It gives me such joy to know that I am helping in a small way to better the life of someone in need. It feeds my soul.”
