Noreda Alexander – Front Desk Volunteer

“For several years as a resident of Collin County I found myself regularly donating items to ACO to help others. All along I knew I wanted to do more than donate, I wanted to offer my services in other ways so, after retirement, I became a volunteer and was assigned to cover the front desk. 

Covering the front desk – greeting and assisting clients, answering questions of callers, and helping people complete tasks in the computer lab makes for busy, and sometimes challenging, days. But at the end of the day, having the opportunity to work with a team of great people at ACO, give back to the community, and see the impact that ACO is making in the lives of others is a gratifying experience that I wouldn’t trade.

It is both an honor and a pleasure to serve you!”
